Gold Spot - is it worth the money? I guess that depends on how MUCH money you're going to shell out for a bottle. There is nothing wrong with Gold Spot AT ALL. It is a fine drop of Irish whisky. But is it worth the mark-up that some liquor stores are reportedly charging? Let's find out! I'm going to put Gold Spot up against Redbreast 15 and Redbreast 21 tonight. For the money that some stores are supposedly charging for Gold Spot, you could pick up Redbreast 15 easily. Redbreast 21 is even in the price range of what some places are reported to be charging for Gold Spot. We'll see how they stack up to each other.
