Riding a Alstom 6000 Series Yellow Line Metro Train from L'Enfant Plaza to Mt Vernon Square

Recorded on 8/21/24. Featuring William Scoufaras. Here we have a nice older 6000 series train to ride! These trains along with the 3000 Series and all of the retired fleet are the classic WMATA Metrorail trains. We ride this one a couple of stops to the Northern Terminus of Mount Vernon Square. The Yellow Line used to go all the way to Greenbelt with the Green Line, but that service got cut a while ago. Listen to the awesome operator on this train! Enjoy!
