Summary: A4C Ontario Leader Terry Rekar addresses Durham Region Planning and Economic Development Committee along with several other Durham residents to speak in opposition to the Envision Durham plan.

-establish minimum density and intensification targets?
-envision Durham’s growth to 1.3 million residents by 2051 representing an almost doubling of the Region’s 2021 population?
-address provincial, not local, policy direction and government priorities?
-focus new transit stations on pedestrian-oriented places?
-direct population and employment to the Urban System?
-limit growth permitted within the Rural System?
-apply to all lands within the Region of Durham?
