Apatros Review Ep-0112: Beyond Evil [1980]

AR-0112: In this episode we check out a mild example of one of the last 1970s horror films that became one of the very first horror films of the 1980s, a tale of a construction foreman who has to contend with a nasty undead spirit hag who has bodyjacked his newlywed wife, giving her the ability to shoot Day-Glo lasers out of her eyes! And to toss random objects at her victims through the use of off-screen stagehands!

Okay, so it is a bit of a stupid lark of a horror flick [directed by a former rabbi], but it is rather entertaining in a cheesy masochistic way despite the lacklustre horror it provides.

My Grade: D+ [Disappointing]
