On Day 253 of sobriety, I took some time to reflect on getting older, especially as I train with my clients. It’s a reminder that I’m not in my 20s anymore, and I need to focus more on recovery and maintaining a clean diet to stay at my best.

Today's track, "Money Ties" by Ren, brought up thoughts about the nature of money. Money isn’t going anywhere, at least not in my lifetime. But I wonder—does money itself make people evil, or is it the power money brings? From my perspective, it's all about balance. I don’t hate the super-rich, nor am I aiming to be one of them. Money won’t make me happy, but it does bring comfort. And sometimes, the lack of it can definitely make me unhappy. It's a tricky balance, and this song brings those themes to the surface in a powerful way.
