‘Concerning’ equality bill to be ‘debated’ in NSW parliament

Sky News host Rita Panahi has raised concerns for Alex Greenwich’s equality bill after NSW Premier Chris Minns said he’d be supporting it.

“The bill will be debated in NSW parliament this week,” Ms Panahi said.

“Some of the most concerning aspects of the bill include the introduction of self-ID … this could become law very quickly.

“It’s incredible, these laws are being introduced without any sort of grounds support form from the public.”

Ms Panahi was joined by Women’s Forum Australia Stephanie Bastiaan to discuss the equality bill.
