2020 to 2022 were tough years in Canada—one of the most draconian of lockdown countries. In 2023, Canadians decided that the only way to get answers for what happened during the COVID pandemic and to inquire into whether Canada's response to COVID was reasonable or even constitutional. The National Citizens Inquiry was born, following successful local hearings down east.

9 cities, almost 400 witnesses testifying under oath lead to Canadians finally being heard. Witnesses included some of the biggest names in medicine and virology, as well as everyday citizens. A Commissioners Report was created and includes all testimony as an official record for further legal action.

Filmmaker Jason Dahl, known for his work on the SuperSpreaders social media channels and dozens of World-class film productions, including those for Matt Ehret and Cynthia Chung at Canadian Patriot Press and Rising Tide Foundation wants to make a feature film documenting the personal struggles involved with getting the NCI off the ground, and its effect on Canada and the world. The NCI continues its work, expanding the scope of the inquiries with new hearings in Vancouver on the question: Are Children Safe in Canada?
