Kamala's Univision Town Hall Was A Complete Disaster

Posted • October 11, 2024: Vice President Kamala Harris had a Univision town hall on Thursday that covered a variety of topics. It was a complete mess. I don't think it went better than any of her other interviews in this spate of media things that she has been doing. Once again, she didn't provide any solid answers about the economy or her plans, and lied her head off about her opponent, former President Donald Trump. So, if the point is that she's supposed to be clarifying her positions with these media events, she's not really achieving that goal. And many thought she may have had a little help. Since it was Kamala Harris, there was an immediate question if she would pull out yet another one of her ever-shifting accents to pander to the particular audience. Many thought she was trying out a Spanish accent here. She also treated the audience to a "leadership" word salad about the hurricanes.

Kamala when confronted with criticism of her hurricane response: "This is not a time for people to play politics." Kamala quite literally put politics before people when she jetted off for a San Francisco fundraiser as Helene was ripping through the United States. Kamala complains that Congress didn't pass her bill — the first she and Biden proposed when they took office — to give MASS AMNESTY to millions of illegal aliens in the country. -- Kamala calls for "putting resources into fentanyl" 😳 Kamala: "I will put my record up against anyone in terms of the work i have always done and will always do to ensure we have a secure border." Her record is an invasion of 20M+ illegals in 3.5 years and a complete surrender of our nation's sovereignty.

Q: "I used to spend $250 a week on food and now it goes up to $350… What are you going to do to help the middle class so that the cost of living does not destroy us?"

Kamala: "I come from the working class. I'm never going to forget what I come from."

Kamala admits grocery prices are too expensive, then tries to reassure voters by citing inflation data released today — which had inflation at a "hotter than expected" rate of 2.4% year over year. What a disaster. Kamala and Joe Biden drove it up over 9 percent. (…)
