HOW IT ALL STARTED - THE BEGINNING . || Gen 15:1-5
Gen 15:1 Why would Abram be afraid? Perhaps he feared revenge from the kings he had just defeated (Gen_14:15). God gave him two good reasons for courage: (1) He promised to protect Abram, and (2) he promised a great reward to Abram. When you fear what lies ahead, remember that God will stay with you through difficult times and that he has promised you great blessings.

HOW IT ALL STARTED - THE BEGINNING . || Gen 15:1-5
Gen 15:2-3 Eliezer was Abram's most trusted servant, acting as household administrator. According to custom, if Abram were to die without a son, his eldest servant would become his heir. Although Abram loved his servant, he wanted a son to carry on the family line. God is a Covenant Keeper, He will fulfil all His promises to you so, fear not.

HOW IT ALL STARTED - THE BEGINNING . || Gen 15:1-5
Gen 15:4-5 Then Abram got the wonderful promise that he will have a son himself. In that son, the son of the promise, God will fulfill His promises. That speaks for us of the Lord Jesus, the Son, in Whom all the promises of God are yes and amen (2Co_1:20). To give an impression of the size and nature of his offspring, the LORD took Abram outside. He invited him to count the stars. They were untenable. So shall be his descendants. The stars also refer to the fact that Abram shall also shall have a heavenly people as descendants.

Personal Supplication
Father, as I hold on to Your promises, let every one of them be fulfilled in my life in Jesus' name! Deut 7:9
9 Understand, therefore, that the LORD your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.

I decree in the name of Jesus, from this moment forward, I see myself the way God sees me. I am highly favoured of the Lord. I am crowned with glory and honour. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
