Protesters gather outside Downing Street in Anti-knife demonstration
Demonstrators gathered outside Downing Street this afternoon (June 3) to protest knife crime in the UK.
People from all across the country gathered to lay shoes outside the prime minister's residence to represent lives lost to knives.
Crime involving knives rose across England and Wales in 2018.
In London, stabbings have increased by 21 percent this year, according to figures by the Metropolitan Police.
