Serve Locally, Think Globally Part 1

Pastor Rick tries to write a newsletter to various missionaries and ministry leaders. While the goal is a monthly letter, those receiving it never have to worry about getting their mailboxes overloaded from him because the letter usually gets done more like biannually. It is called “News From Iowa.” The goal is to let all our ministry friends and partners know how God is working locally at GBC.
How we serve and minister locally is important, because without a stable, healthy, and vibrant local church our missionaries and other ministries we support would be directly affected. Today Pastor Rick begins a new 2 part series. In part 1 we are going to consider how important it is for each of us to get involved in the ministries of the church and, “Serve Locally.”
