In a world teetering on the edge of oblivion, this is the tale of humanity's hubris—a desperate attempt to create gods in their own twisted image. The air is thick with the stench of death as the world hurtles towards its final, catastrophic transformation. Dr Simon Reddin, a British scientist, makes one last desperate call to his fellow scientist, Tommy, who is hiding in a bunker deep beneath American soil. The end is nigh, born from mankind's insatiable thirst for deities—an apocalyptic reckoning of our own making. Ever deluded by its limitless religiosity, humanity once again turned to the age-old myth of salvation through divine intervention. But instead of enlightenment, it birthed destruction. Like the impatient Israelites who demanded a golden calf in Moses' absence, we too have fashioned false idols—celebrities, religious figures, political saviours—believing they could deliver us from our woes. But salvation never came, only wrath. As the world burns, it becomes clear: our obsessive need to conjure a god to save us has unleashed superhuman monsters instead, dragging us all into the abyss.
