Hiking Seceda, a Stunning Mountain near Ortisei in the Italian Dolomites

A fantastic day on one of Italy's most famous and incredibly beautiful mountains. The Dolomites are renowned for their other worldly limestone formations and are on every hiker's bucket list when in Italy. Had a bluebird day to see it, along with thousands of my visiting friends friends from all over the world. I took the gondolas up at a cost of 50 euros, plus 20 euros parking fee, to avoid the 3000 foot climb up. But..., you need all day to explore the area and wait thru periods when the mountain is covered in clouds, which is a lot of the time even during good weather. Be aware that the gondolas shut down at 5:30 p.m.
