Parts of Brisbane “disappeared” on the morning on Wednesday, May 30, as a thick layer of fog swept into the city from around 6 am. In this timelapse, fog can be seen rolling through the central business district. Bureau of Meteorology forecaster David Crock said the “extensive” fog developed in the western suburbs, forming overnight due to showers over the last few days, ABC reported “There’s plenty of moisture on the ground and with clear skies and light winds overnight allow the ground to cool down and form that fog, which is basically cloud on the ground level.” Credit: Outback Polaks via Storyful
