We are sure you will agree that horses are one of the most majestic and beautiful animals on the planet. Despite the fact that they can easily crush us with their sized and immensely powerful hooves and therefore inspire fear, horses are very tender and beautiful creatures. And they show their tenderness in a wonderful way.

Iceland is a country that never ceases to amaze tourists from all around the globe. This detached island holds many secrets and peculiar places that cannot be seen anywhere else in the world, which makes it a popular tourist destination. Sure, the prices are incredibly high, but the experience you get in return is totally worth it!

If you decide to do the famous "Golden Circle" tour (and it's highly recommended that you do), you can't miss the sight of beautiful horses roaming through the vast pastures. These Icelandic horses are usually very friendly creatures, but most of them live behind fences and are not meant to be bothered by the hordes of tourists that visit on a daily base. There are some farmers that actually let you pet the horses and even give them yummy snacks (for a very small price), so tourists can get to experience these beautiful animals up close and personal.

However, most of the time you can just marvel at their beauty from a distance, which is the case in this video. These lovely cutie pies have a fondness for each other and they are not afraid to show their love to the world. Watch as they gently exchange numerous kisses, not bothered by the cameras pointing at them and filming their adorable moment of affection.

"We stopped by this pasture so we can observe the horses in their natural habitat, and what we didn't expect to see were these two lovebirds showering each other with love and affection. So we got our cameras ready and filmed the precious moment. Later they playfully chased each other around, but what amazed us the most was this moment of pure love", said the creator of the video.

These horses are a special breed that only thrives in Iceland, and most of them are pony-sized, but they are referred as horses nonetheless. According to the Icelandic law, other horses cannot be imported in the country, and those who are exported cannot get back. This makes this breed of horses endemic to Iceland, and they have been a part of the country's folklore and legends for centuries. That's not unexpected since they are one of the most beautiful sights you can witness in the beautiful Iceland.

Even despite the mechanization process, these horses are a very vital part of the Icelandic way of life, and some of them even participate in traditional horse races, and some are bred for their meat which is usually exported to Japan.
