G’day Punters!

If you are a natural born Hellene (Greek), or have Hellenic Heritage, please do not be too harsh with your criticisms of my interpretation and version of the 'Hymn To Liberty'. My parents were born in Hellas, I was not. I never knew any of my grandparents, cousins, and extended family - we were the only ones to come to Melbourne, Australia. In my twenties, I was a voracious reader of all the Ancient Greek Classics, and have been called a 'Socratic' by a PHD Classicist in Greek Literature, which was a great honour, but in truth I am more like Aristophanes or wish to be. Which probably explains why I am so rude, crude, and unforgiving in my often harsh social commentary about politicians. But I digress. This version has English and Greek in it. I tried to embody the Hellenic Spirit, even though I am and have been a product of my Birthplace Australia - and am so grateful to God for that. Enjoy.
