When is it OK to take Zuckerbucks?

We will be ranting about Coos County considering taking Zuckerbucks in the form of a $50,000 grant from The Center for Tech & Civic Life, which is funded by Mark Zuckerberg. The money will go the the County Clerk’s office and has to be spent by the end of the year.

The Coos County Board of Commissioners will be discussing taking the money at the next commissioners meeting this Tuesday, at 9:30 AM September 03, 2024. It is Agenda Item D and people should attend to make a public comment before the commissioners decide to take the money.

There were a few delays in the filing of the Wind Turbine Advisory Question and we will be ranting about the handling of the ballot question as well. The delays prevented any arguments for or against the measure from being submitted.
