Russia expects France to respond to Russia's notification of access to Pavel Durov, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"Relations between Moscow and Paris are at their lowest point, also because of the position that Paris took on issues of freedom of expression, freedom of dissemination of information and, in general, on issues of respect for the profession of journalist long before the current events," the minister said.

Lavrov added that the Telegram platform is convenient and "really protected," which is evidenced by Durov's arrest.
