When you ban firearms, they will be replaced with knives, swords, metal pipes, baseball bats, machetes, or anything they can use. Criminals don't care about or follow the law. Laws are put in place for law, even more so illegal alien criminals who are career criminal in their home countries.

Gun laws, much like gun free zones, merely prevent law abiding citizens from being able to protect themselves. The more the hoops they make you jump through to legally own a firearm here in America, they hope you just give up and don't try.
