Homestead VLOG 08.04.24 - French Drain

We need to install a French Drain on the SE corner of the barn. The down spout on this corner of the barn discharges approximately 1000 gallons for every inch of rain fall. That water collects in a depression at the south end of Marti's art studio. From there the water flows under the studio heading toward the top of the driveway out front. As it passes under the studio it also seeps into and fills the barn floor. Yes, we can have running water through the middle of the barn in extreme weather events. But, that all ends today as we find a different path for water.
