12.08.24 At night, Army Aviation crews on the Mi-28 and Ka-52 helicopters delivered strikes by aircraft armament at the AFU manpower, armoured hardware, and motor vehicles cluster in the border area of Kursk region.

The strike was delivered by unguided air-to-surface missiles and Vikhr missiles at the assigned targets located by reconnaissance.

After the use of aviation weapons, the crews performed a manoeuvre, releasing decoy flares, and returned to the departure airfield.

ِAs the reconnaissance reported, all the assigned targets were neutralised.

▫️Over the past 24 hours, active actions of units of the Sever Group of Forces and arrived reserves, Army Aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, and artillery strikes repelled seven attacks launched by assault detachments of the AFU 80th and 82nd airborne assault brigades near Martynovka, Borki, and Korenevo.

▫️Moreover, the attempts of the enemy's mobile groups on armoured vehicles to get to the depth of the Russian territory were thwarted. The AFU losses have amounted to one tank, eight Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, 16 armoured fighting vehicles, and 14 pickup trucks.

▫️Ground-Attack and Army Aviation, and artillery strikes inflicted losses on manpower and hardware clusters of the AFU 22nd, 61st, and 115th mechanised brigades near Kurilovka, Plekhovo, Lyubimovka, Sudzha, Kositsa, Gogolevka, Kazachiya Loknya, Mikhailovka, and Sverdlyakovka.

▫️Over the past 24 hours, the AFU losses have amounted to up to 260 Ukrainian troops, 31 units of hardware, including three tanks, eight infantry fighting vehicles, 20 armoured fighting vehicles, 27 motor vehicles, and three 122-mm D-20 howitzers.

📊Since the beginning of hostilities in Kursk region, the AFU losses amounted to up to 1,610 Ukrainian troops, 32 tanks, 23 armoured personnel carriers, 17 infantry fighting vehicles, 136 armoured fighting vehicles, 47 motor vehicles, four SAM systems, one MLRS combat vehicle, and 13 field artillery guns.
