Tim Walz signed an executive order protecting the "rights of trans children" to receive gender-affirming care. He called protecting children's rights to permanently damage their genitals "empathy." "You do not need your elected officials to give sermons, but you darn sure should expect them try and live one. And in Minnesota, we're gonna try and live that decency that kindness that inclusion. So as pens were raised in sign and brought fear…and hatred…and nothing positive. We're gonna put pen to paper today that say, this state will protect you." "The order will direct state agencies to ensure people seeking gender-affirming care in Minnesota will not face legal repercussions. That includes out-of-state people seeking care — state agencies will not be allowed to cooperate with other states where gender-affirming care is criminalized. In 2009, two Iraq War veterans confronted aides of then-Congressman Tim Walz over claims that he served in Afghanistan. The veterans even told them that the congressman could go to jail under the Stolen Valor Act of 2006 for claiming to have served in Afghanistan when he didn’t, as he is not an Afghanistan or Enduring Freedom veteran. “This could get the congressman probably thrown in jail. It violates the 2006 Stolen Valor Act, which says it is a federal crime to portray yourself, in writing or verbally, as having received an award or decoration authorized by Congress that you didn't receive. Congressman Walz is clearly claiming in the sign, in this picture with the sign, to be an Enduring Freedom veteran. He is clearly not; nobody disputes the fact that he is not an Afghanistan or Enduring Freedom veteran. So, this represents a fairly serious issue.”

The Harris campaign now says that Tim Walz "misspoke" in saying he served in war. Did Tim Walz also "misspeak" when holding this sign, claiming he was a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom? Tim Walz changed the Minnesota flag design. The old flag had images of farming, an Indian, a MN lake, and flowers. It also had a saying on it "L'etoile du Nord meaning "The Star of the North", the state motto since inception. Since the 1990s, Somalian immigrants have been settling in Minnesota in droves. They have become active in politics and brought a new ideology into the United States... for example, Ilhan Omar was the first Muslim-American to become a lawmaker in the United States. Right here in the heartland of America. The new flag closely resembles the Somalian flag. Why did Tim Walz feel it was necessary to change the flag? H/T Nevs
