NESMETAL - PRESS START (Full Album, 2005)

The humble beginnings of "NESMETAL". Started off as just a single song based on 3 sound samples (yes, THREE - the melody synth harp, and a basic synth kick and snare drum found in "Fruity Loops V.3.0") that I stumbled across, which - to me - sounded kinda similar to Ninja Gaiden (NES).

I had no idea that there was such a thing called "chiptune", let alone that other musicians/artists were (or had been) hard at work cultivating this genre/scene, in 2003 (and before). I had just found something that - to me - sounded absolutely splendid.

And so, I did what any videogame loving metal-head would do - I kept making songs 'til I had a full album ("Press Start"). Which I released in 2005. And the rest is history... in a very, VERY small way, I suppose. Anyway...
