Official Trailer - Wicked: For Good - 2025
Movies From The Past - Films de notre Passé
Wicked: For Good is an upcoming American musical fantasy film directed by Jon M. Chu and written by Winnie Holzman and Dana Fox. The direct sequel to Wicked (2024) and the second installment of the two-part Wicked film series, it adapts the second act of the 2003 stage musical by Stephen Schwartz and Holzman, which was loosely based on Gregory Maguire's 1995 novel, itself a reimagining of L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and its 1939 film adaptation. Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Marissa Bode, Michelle Yeoh, and Jeff Goldblum reprise their roles from Wicked.[3] Set in the Land of Oz before and after Dorothy Gale arrives from Kansas, the plot follows Elphaba and Glinda's friendship being put to the test as they embrace their new respective identities as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good, and how the consequences of their actions will change all of Oz forever.
Universal Pictures and Marc Platt, who both produced the stage musical, announced the film adaptation in 2012. After a long development and multiple delays, partly due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Chu was hired to direct, with Erivo and Grande cast in 2021. The adaptation was split into two parts. Principal photography on both films began in December 2022 in England, was interrupted in July 2023 by the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike, and resumed and concluded in January 2024.
Wicked: For Good is set for release by Universal Pictures in the United States on November 21, 2025.

Avatar: Fire and Ash is an upcoming American epic science fiction film co-produced, co-edited, and directed by James Cameron, who co-wrote the screenplay with Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver from a story the trio wrote with Josh Friedman and Shane Salerno.[3] Distributed by 20th Century Studios and produced by Lightstorm Entertainment, it is the sequel to Avatar: The Way of Water (2022) and the third installment in the Avatar film series. Cast members Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, and Kate Winslet reprise their roles from previous films.
Cameron, who had stated in 2006 that he would like to make sequels to Avatar (2009) if it was successful, announced the first two sequels in 2010 following the success of the first film, with the then-untitled Avatar 3 aiming for a 2015 release.[4][5] However, the addition of two more sequels (four in total), and the development of new technology required to film performance capture scenes underwater, a feat never accomplished before, led to significant delays to allow the crew more time to work on the writing, pre-production, and visual effects.[6] Avatar: Fire and Ash started shooting simultaneously with Avatar: The Way of Water in New Zealand on September 25, 2017; filming completed in late December 2020, after over three years of shooting.

Official Trailer #2 - Good Fortune - 2025 - Seth Rogen, Aziz Ansari, Keke Palmer, Keanu Reeves
Movies From The Past - Films de notre Passé
Good Fortune is a 2025 American comedy film written and directed by Aziz Ansari in his feature directorial debut. Seth Rogen, Ansari, Keke Palmer, Sandra Oh, and Keanu Reeves star in the film. It is produced by Garam Films, Oh Brudder Productions, Keep Your Head, and Yang Pictures. It follows an angel named Gabriel (Reeves), whose failed attempt to show Arj (Ansari), a struggling man, that money doesn't solve one's problems—by body swapping him with his wealthy employer Jeff (Rogen)—results in Gabriel losing his wings, while the work he did as an angel begins to unravel around them.
After the suspension of his original directorial debut Being Mortal at Searchlight Pictures in 2022, Ansari moved forward with plans to direct Good Fortune. He desired to make a comedy film with the intent for it to be theatrically released, citing the success of Barbie (2023) as proof of the viability of such a project. Ansari's longtime friend Rogen, who inspired the implementation of several elements into the film, joined shortly after Being Mortal was shelved.
The film was set to begin principal photography in May 2023, but due to a production shutdown in the middle of the month due to the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike, filming started in late January 2024 in Los Angeles, when Palmer announced she had joined the cast. The majority of filming wrapped before April 2024, with some scenes picked up at a later date after an injury Reeves sustained two weeks into filming had healed.
Good Fortune premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6, 2025, and is scheduled to be released in the United States on October 17, 2025. The film received positive reviews from critics.

Announcement Trailer - Indiana Jones and the Great Circle The Order of Giants - Gamescom 2025
Movies From The Past - Films de notre Passé
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a 2024 action-adventure game developed by MachineGames and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is based on the Indiana Jones franchise and features an original narrative that draws from the film series.[1] Set between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), the story follows archaeologist Indiana Jones in 1937 as he attempts to thwart various groups who are seeking to harness a power connected to the Great Circle, which refers to mysterious sites around the world that form a perfect circle when together on a map. The game spans numerous real-world locales such as the Vatican City, Giza, Himalayas, Shanghai, and Sukhothai.
The Great Circle is primarily played from a first-person perspective with third-person being employed for contextual elements such as environmental interaction. The player controls Indiana as they navigate through a mix of linear, story-sensitive areas and wider, exploratory landscapes. Combat can either be directly engaged with or circumvented entirely through the use of stealth mechanics, and the character's signature whip can be used as both a weapon and a means for traversing across obstacles and solving various puzzles to uncover alternate paths and obscured collectibles.
Bethesda and MachineGames jointly announced the game's development in January 2021, in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.[2] Jerk Gustafsson directed the game, composer Gordy Haab contributed original pieces and reinterpretations of classic themes from the films by John Williams. Todd Howard from Bethesda Game Studios conceived the game's story and served as an executive producer, considering the game a passion project of his. Troy Baker provides the voice and motion capture of Indiana Jones, whose likeness is otherwise based on Harrison Ford, who portrays him in the films. Alessandra Mastronardi and Tony Todd are featured in supporting roles.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was released for Windows and Xbox Series X/S in December 2024. A PlayStation 5 version was released in April 2025, and a Nintendo Switch 2 version is set for release in 2026. The game received acclaim from critics and multiple year-end nominations, including Game of the Year at the D.I.C.E. Awards. The Great Circle is set to receive a downloadable story expansion titled The Order of Giants in September 2025.

Trailer - Fixed - 2025 - Netflix
Movies From The Past - Films de notre Passé
Fixed (stylized in all caps) is a 2025 American adult animated romantic comedy film directed by Genndy Tartakovsky, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Jon Vitti, and produced by Michelle Murdocca. Produced by Sony Pictures Animation, it features the voices of Adam DeVine, Idris Elba, Kathryn Hahn, Fred Armisen, Beck Bennett, and Bobby Moynihan. The film follows a dog who learns that he is going to be neutered the next morning and is taken by his friends for one last day of partying. It is the first adult animated film from Sony Pictures Animation, as well as their first traditionally animated film.
The film was first conceived in 2009, and after languishing in development hell, began being worked on in 2018; following the successes of Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation (2018) and the fifth and final season of Samurai Jack (2017), Tartakovsky signed on to direct the film for Sony Pictures Animation. The cast was publicly announced in June 2023.
Warner Bros. Pictures was originally set to distribute the film through their New Line Cinema banner, but dropped the film by August 2024 as part of cost-saving measures by Warner Bros. Discovery, canceling its theatrical release. Streaming service Netflix ultimately acquired the distribution rights to the film, scheduling it for release on August 13, 2025. The film had its world premiere on June 11, 2025, at the 2025 Annecy International Animation Film Festival.

Official Trailer - Good Fortune - 2025 - Seth Rogen, Aziz Ansari, Keke Palmer, Keanu Reeves
Movies From The Past - Films de notre Passé
Good Fortune is an upcoming American comedy film written and directed by Aziz Ansari in his feature directorial debut. Keanu Reeves, Ansari, Seth Rogen, Sandra Oh, and Keke Palmer star in the project.
Good Fortune is slated to premiere at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival in September 2025, and is scheduled to be released in the United States on October 17, 2025.

Teaser - Good Fortune - 2025 - Seth Rogen, Aziz Ansari, Keke Palmer, Keanu Reeves
Movies From The Past - Films de notre Passé
Good Fortune is an upcoming American comedy film written and directed by Aziz Ansari in his feature directorial debut. Seth Rogen, Ansari, Keke Palmer, Sandra Oh, and Keanu Reeves star in the project.
Ansari's longtime friend Rogen, who inspired the implementation of several elements into the film, joined alongside Reeves in April 2023, when the film was set to begin principal photography in May. Following a production shutdown in the middle of the month due to the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike, filming started in late January 2024 in Los Angeles, when Palmer joined the cast. The majority of filming wrapped before April 2024, with some scenes picked up at a later date after an injury Reeves sustained two weeks into filming had healed.
Good Fortune is scheduled to be released in the United States on October 17, 2025.

Official Trailer HD: Resident Evil: Afterlife - 2010
Movies From The Past - Films de notre Passé
Resident Evil: Afterlife is a 2010 action horror film[2] written and directed by Paul W. S. Anderson. It is the second film in the series that he directed, after the first film. A direct sequel to Resident Evil: Extinction (2007), it is the fourth installment in the Resident Evil film series, which is loosely based on the video game series of the same name, and the first to be shot in 3D. It stars Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Kim Coates, Shawn Roberts, Spencer Locke, Boris Kodjoe, and Wentworth Miller.
The film follows Alice searching for and rescuing the remaining survivors in Los Angeles after the T-virus outbreak, and teaming up against Albert Wesker, the head of the Umbrella Corporation. Chris Redfield, a primary character from the video games, was featured for the first time in the film franchise. Other characters from the games and films who returned are: Claire Redfield, Chris's sister who has lost her memory prior to the film's events; Albert Wesker, the film's main antagonist; and Jill Valentine, who made a cameo appearance.
In May 2005, producers mentioned the possibility of following Extinction with a sequel titled Afterlife. Extinction was released in 2007 and was a box office success, prompting Afterlife to begin development in June 2008, with the script being written by Anderson that December. Elements from the video game Resident Evil 5 (2009) were incorporated into the film including the mind control devices and Chris' confrontation with Wesker. Filming took place in Toronto from September to December 2009 using the 3D Fusion Camera System.

Teaser 1 - Peacemaker - Season 2 - 2025 - Max
Movies From The Past - Films de notre Passé
The second season of the American superhero television series Peacemaker is based on the eponymous character from DC Comics. It is set in the DC Universe (DCU) and serves as a "soft reboot" of the series, which started as a spin-off from the 2021 DC Extended Universe (DCEU) film The Suicide Squad. The season continues the story of jingoistic mercenary Christopher Smith / Peacemaker. It is produced by DC Studios with James Gunn as showrunner.
John Cena stars as the title character, reprising his role from The Suicide Squad, with Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Jennifer Holland, Steve Agee, Robert Patrick, Frank Grillo, Sol Rodríguez, David Denman, and Tim Meadows also starring. The season was ordered in February 2022, with Gunn set to write and direct all eight episodes. Filming was expected to begin in 2023, but work was put on hold when Gunn was made co-CEO of DC Studios and switched focus to the film Superman (2025). The spin-off series Waller was then prioritized over the season, but Waller was delayed by the 2023 Hollywood labor disputes, and in March 2024, Gunn announced that the season would now come first. Some filming occurred the next month, taking place simultaneously with Superman at Trilith Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, ahead of principal photography which began in June and concluded in November.
The season is set to premiere on the streaming service HBO Max on August 21, 2025, and will consist of eight episodes.
