"Bandit Queen" is an American Western film released in 1950, directed by William Berke. The plot follows Zara Montalvo, a young woman who returns to California during the Gold Rush only to witness the murder of her parents by a corrupt sheriff and his gang. Seeking revenge, she adopts the persona of Lola Belmont and teams up with Joaquin Murietta, a masked bandit, to form a band of outlaws. Together, they fight against injustice and restore stolen wealth to its rightful owners. The film stars Barbara Britton as Zara Montalvo/Lola Belmont, Willard Parker as Joaquin Murietta/Carlos Del Rio, and Phillip Reed as Dan Hinsdale.
