PRAY TO GOD OR JESUS? / Pastor Bob's Coffee Break

Dear Pastor Bob: When I was a kid, I recognized God and Jesus as separate. I get confused because God gave his only son, but it was God who came to us in human form? In my adult life, I have found myself talking to God all of the time and not Jesus. When people say "Praise Jesus" are they praising God? I don't understand why I center all of my thoughts around God. I do believe in Jesus and that he died on the cross for us, but I see God and Jesus as the same. I find in my heart I feel close to God. I don't talk to Jesus, is this wrong? I do get very upset when I see anyone say anything against Jesus and it hurts me so I don't understand this difficulty I have separating the two in prayer. God is on my mind just about 24/7. Thank you if you can provide any insight into why I can't seem to compartmentalize.
