I’m the biggest Rose Namajunas hater, full disclosure. Her win was impressive but she was always supposed to win that fight. Doing everything right, Rose Namajunas knocked down Tracy Cortez, let her foot off the gas, and cruised to a unanimous decision victory.

Unfortunately for Tracy Cortez, she had no answers to what Rose Namajunas brought to the table. She couldn’t get her to a takedown where she could control Namajunas. She got taken down by Rose Namajunas and when Tracy Cortez had to strike, she was just ineffective. The fight probably wouldn’t have gone different even if it wasn’t on two weeks notice.

Muslim Salikov and Santiago Ponzinibbio had an old man fight that would have been cool 7 years ago. Muslim Salikov edged the win and some, myself included, had Santiago Ponzinibbio winning.

Jean Silva and Drew Dober absolutely stole the show at UFC Denver. Two bangers, born to bang, Drew Dober brought a good fight to his home town. Unfortunately, Jean Silva can’t be stopped. He battered up Drew Dober in front of his family and friends and won off a gnarly cut and a doctor’s stoppage.
