Koala Joey Makes Highly Anticipated 'Pouch Premiere' At Local Zoo

Posted • July 12, 2024: A 6-month-old koala was seen making its “premiere” by peeking out of its mom’s pouch for the first time at the Healesville Sanctuary in Australia. “Koala joeys are in and out of the pouch until the age of nine months," said a mammal keeper.
