Mario Mateo here, and what a day it's been! Kicked off this Monday with some excitement – I’ve officially bought a 2018 Hyundai Sonata Sport! It’s in excellent condition, drives like a dream, and I got it for a steal. I’m thrilled to start this new chapter, juggling both Uber and Lyft. My baseball card project took a backseat today as I dove into the car buying experience, complete with flashbacks to the dealership.

The day didn’t just stop at the new car though. I won a court case against an illegal U-turn ticket thanks to the chaos of the airport TNC lot. Felt like I had the judge in my pocket for a moment there! After that small victory, it was time to hit the road and see how this new ride handles the Miami streets. The gas mileage is impressive, and I can't wait to see how far I can go on a full tank.

Switching between Uber and Lyft was an interesting experience. Lyft was surprisingly quiet for most of the day, leaving Uber to carry the load. Managed a few good rides and even got my first Lyft ride from the airport – a modest start but a start nonetheless. The new car’s features, like leather seats and a sunroof, make the rides more enjoyable, and the passengers seem to appreciate the comfort.

Despite some frustrations with the Lyft app's interface and navigation, I’m finding my groove. The day was filled with reflections on work, LinkedIn's superficiality, and the grind of rideshare driving. By the end of it, I had a decent haul for a Monday in the slow season.
