A spectacular, glowing sunset followed the severe storms that washed across Connecticut on Tuesday, May 15. Trees and power lines were toppled and homes were damaged in several towns. A preliminary report from the National Weather Service said a macroburst blew through Brookfield with winds up to 100-110 miles per hour. The first selectman had declared a disaster in the town following the storm. This video shows the sunset over New Haven on Tuesday evening. Credit: Zeek Howard via Storyful
