HUGE Early Projections for Deadpool & Wolverine

Early projections for the next Marvel Cinematic Universe, MCU, film Deadpool & Wolverine have it setting the record for the highest grossing domestic opening for an R-rated film; beating out 2016’s Deadpool.

The success of Deadpool & Wolverine along with Inside Out 2 is coming at the opportune time for Disney and Marvel since they’ve been in a bit of a slump for the last year. Inside Out 2 just hit the billion dollar global mark and there is a strong chance Deadpool 3 will reach that as well. However, the question still needs to be asked over whether this will have an impact on upcoming Disney releases.
