LIVE: My Experience at the airport with Facial Recognition. Is it mandatory?

I went on vacation last week and they announced that everyone was going to get face scanned instead of their boarding pass. They said "your face is now your boarding pass". Let's discuss my reaction vs the rest of the passengers.
