Auto dealers throughout the Detroit area have been hit with a cyberattack.

The software company CDK Global, used by thousands of dealerships nationwide, was hit and around 15-thousand clients have been impacted. Detroit Auto Dealers Association president Todd Szott says they were notified earlier this week that CDK Global shut down access as they investigate what happened. He says it looks to him like a ransomware attack.
