The Lantern Festival at the John Ball Zoo is ending for the year

The zoo says the last day of the Lantern Festival was sold out and attendance records were hit this year during the festival. While the exact number of visitors has not been released yet, the zoo says that last year more than 110-thousand guests attended the event and it expects this year's number to be far past that.
