A GoPro weather balloon flew over 20 miles into the stratosphere above Denver, Colorado in May 2016. Reaching heights of 130,000 feet, the weather ballon captured some stunning images of Denver and the surrounding area. “The craft was tracked using a GPS tracker, while the parachute failed causing it to crash not far from the launch site. This was my first balloon launch attempt,” explained Kevin who uploaded the video to YouTube. Credit: Hope & Ignition via Storyful
