The Swiss summit will achieve nothing without Russia participating – Nils Fiechter

Moscow is ready to end the conflict, if Kiev withdraws its forces from new Russian regions and abandons plans to join NATO, Putin has claimed. The statement comes as Switzerland is about to host a peace summit to which the Russian side has not been invited.

We discuss this with Nils Fiechter, a lawmaker in the Swiss canton of Bern and head of the youth wing of the SVP, the largest political party in Switzerland's national parliament.
