Left wing nutjobs are big mad at an Ohio McDonalds location for flying the American flag upside down at half mast to signify that America is in distress and the country is on the bring of collapse.

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKRC) - The American flag was flown upside down at a McDonald's location in Ohio Wednesday.

On Wednesday, an X user posted an image showing the American flag flying upside down at a McDonald's location in Austintown, Ohio. The post has since gone viral, garnering nearly 2 million views.

The user included a local corporate office number, but later commented that the problem had been rectified.

According to Mahoning Matters, McDonald's officials confirmed that the mistake was due to an error made by a maintenance worker and not any kind of political statement.

“This was an unintentional error when our flag was raised early yesterday morning. As soon as we were made aware of it, we rectified the situation. We are taking this opportunity to ensure our staff understand proper protocols," local McDonald's owner Trey Locke told Mahoning Matters.

On the viral post, the X user confirmed that the McDonald's location had addressed the issue.

"No. Do not call. They said they made a mistake. Thanks," the user wrote.

Per Mahoning Matters, flying the flag upside down has been used to signify a country in distress.
