If Your Head Can Go Through, Your Body Will Too

When you get yourself a pet, you must make sure that pet is safely tucked in away from the busy streets for its own protection, especially when the owners are away from home. However, this is not always possible, particularly with small breeds which are known to go round all sorts on enclosures.

People decide to put puppy gates in order to keep their pets away from these forbidden areas and most of the times barriers work, but not in the case of this small dog in the video above. This dog from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, always managed to escape, and the owners never could find out the way how. After checking all the fence and yard the owner decided to catch him in the act and pretended to leave the house. This is what he saw.

The pooch’s head can be seen appearing and disappearing from the hole in the door, like a scene from a funny children’s cartoon. It is jumping up and down, trying to catch the rim of the opening hole with its front paws. Suddenly, at the last attempt, he succeeds and holds on, raises its body on sheer muscle strength, like doing pull-ups, and sticks the head through the opening. The same rule applies here as it did when we were kids: if your head can go through, your body will too. Success: his body fits as well and he slips like an eel through the tiny hole, wagging a tale of victory in the yard.

So, our lesson for today is: don’t ever underestimate a tiny dog. This legend deserves to be free.
