The Humane Society of Huron Valley rescued more than a dozen dogs, birds and ponies, "covered head to to in feces," from a home in Ypsilanti Township on Monday. According to the HSHV, cruelty investigators arrived at the home after a Good Samaritan reported it to the humane society last week after trying to buy a puppy.
