Metro Detroit gas prices see sharp increase, highest price in three years

Gas prices in metro Detroit and Michigan have seen a sharp increase with prices the highest they've been since 2015. According to AAA Michigan, gas prices in metro Detroit are up about eight cents to $2.86 per gallon. That's about 37 cents more than this time last year and the highest in the area since 2015.
