It began to rain at about the same time I took off in the Miata to go drive to the "Cars Beyond The Boulevard" car show, which was being held at Theater In The Park out by Shawnee Mission Park. As I took off a bit after 12:00 noon, it began to sprinkle. Fortunately by the time I reach the car show event, I discovered there was still a decent turnout despite the rain. The highlight of this car show was the Tesla Cybertruck. I chatted with the gentleman that owns it some. Turns out he most likely was the guy driving the Cybertruck I passed out in Leawood about three weeks prior.

During the car show, the rains held back pretty good, only a light drizzle here and there. All in all, it was a pretty good car show, it being on a rainy Sunday afternoon.

100% of the proceeds to this event went to the "Care Beyond The Boulevard". For more information, go to Care Beyond the Boulevard at https://www.carebeyondtheboulevard.org/

Wikipedia:
The Tesla Cybertruck is a battery electric medium duty full-size pickup truck built by Tesla, Inc. since 2023. Introduced as a concept vehicle in November 2019, it has a triangular body with flat sheet stainless steel panels.
Tesla planned to produce the vehicle in 2021, but it was first delivered to customers in late November 2023. As of December 2023, the Cybertruck is available only in North America. Three models are offered: the tri-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) "Cyberbeast", a dual-motor AWD model, and a rear-wheel drive (RWD) model, with EPA range estimates of 250–340 miles (400–550 km), varying by model. There was a US NHTSA recall issued for all delivered Cybertrucks in April 2024 over an accelerator pedal pad that could come loose.
