MARTINE SHEPHERD & ALEXANDRA NICOL: Leeuwin Offshore Wind Farm on Relentless Episode 56. In what is believed to be a world first, the federal government has proposed developing an offshore wind farm in the middle of a whale super highway off Western Australia’s southwest coast.
"I came on board as a one of the Campaign Coordinators for #saveourbelovedgeographebay Facebook Community and now this movement in WA has started a NEW Wildfire of the voice of the people pushing back insane Federal Government Proposals where Foreign Entities have been given the nod to destroy our pristine Marine Environments. WA is incredibly unique in its multitude of Endemic Species, most southerly Subtropical and Temperate/Cool Water Coral Reef Systems in the world, all due to the Leeuwin Current and Upwelling from the Southern Ocean.
The Federal Government and all previous governments that have been collaborating with Corporations abroad and in Australia shall be held accountable for what seems like more and more back door deals and Carbon Offsetting by any Green Washing Agenda they can use their propaganda machine for.
The people of Australia have had enough. From Farmers, Private, Primary and Small businesses, Ecotourism, everyday Aussies have been pushed to breaking point and nefarious divisive actions over the last 4 years. We are done with their wasteful policies and legislation spending Billions of Tax payers $ on this Offshore Wind Turbines Agenda.
