Dragon Quest XI, playthrough part 35 (with commentary)

The Hero, Hendrik, Rab, and Sylvando solve the falling star over Gallopolis, or rather the shadowy knight solves it, which seems to save Gallopolis for the time being. With just a few words and information the party resumes the quest. Based on what they got from Gallopolis, The group decides the next major destination should be Arboria. Once they are out in the open ocean, the party discovers that Erik has stowed away on their ship, plus he has lost his memories. Happy to have their friend returned, he joins up. The Hero having another companion, and Erik hoping to get his memories back. The journey is halted by a golden iceburg blocking passage to Snifilheim, the direct route to Arboria.
