Episode 5 - Through the Lense of Glody Bondolee

Having knowledge of a subject is not analogous with understanding what it feels like to experience that very same thing. In this episode Glody Bondolee, an Australian man native to the Afrikaans, let’s us in on his understanding of the world and how growing up being the only (one of few) African-Australian’s in his formative years have shaped the lense in which he views the world, himself, and the culture we find ourselves thrown into. There’s so much to unpack in this episode. Very grateful the time was taken to come sit with me and navigate what can be a very tricky and sensitive conversation.
