At least three people were killed and two others wounded in a suicide car-bomb attack in Kabul on Saturday morning, March 17, Radio Free Europe reported. TOLO News reported that the Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack, which occurred close to a compound that houses foreign contractors in the Dispichari area in Kabul’s PD9. The attack occurred amid increasing pressure on the Taliban to accept the Afghan government’s offer of peace talks to end the country’s 16-year conflict, Radio Free Europe reported.
