Below Sunshade | The Plot Development RPG

Hello Im Skill Incarnate and Welcome to My Games Review Series.
My reviews cover indie games that i have bought, had gifted to me and have been provided by developers for review. In this episode I check out one of the most.. unique games ive ever played called Below Sunshade. This game is the breakout title by Arvus Games, and is a mix of Turn Based RPG, Visual Novel and Survival Game, having been created in the RPGMaker Engine

Beyond Sunshade follows an unnamed sailor who is shipwrecked during a routine trip to deliver some cargo. His new home is an island teeming with deadly plants and dangerous predators. To make things worse, the islands volcano has become active threatens to burn everything in its path to ashes. In order to escape you will need to explore the island, gather food and resources, craft weapons and tools, and finally choose who will accompany you in your escape. The game adapts to your decisions, changing your relationship with the various survivors and factions on the island and ultimately determining which of the games endings that you will recieve.

Please note that this game is a title for older audiences, and may not appeal to all players. However, unlike simular games this makes a very small percentage of the game and the survival/crafting and exploration sections of the game are very interesting. Additionally the multiple difficulties, different endings and huge areas of the island to explore, give the game a large amount of replayability.
