People in Santiago, the second largest city in Cuba protested yesterday calling for "power and food" as blackouts lasting 18+ hours a day strike out across several provinces.
Food, fuel, and medicine shortages wrack the nation amid an economic crisis as a result of the lingering strain after the COVID pandemic, American trade embargos, and a weakening economy.
