Rumble / Fascinating PeopleSkateboarding is not for kids only. It is for all of those who have young spirit and are not afraid to learn some tricks. It is not just about covering long distances but it is mostly used for making some crazy maneuvers. Skateboarding ranks with rap music and the sport art might still be the most beautiful when it is at its simplest: four wheels and a hard surface.

The man in this video is Neal, also known as "The Dude" delivers an epic trick at the Palm Springs Skate Park. Of course, it is pretty beautiful when somebody spends a ton of cash to make places where skaters can skate things built specifically for skateboarding. This park where Neal is about to perform his courageous trick is totally designed to challenge the skills of both in-line skaters and skateboarders alike. We are not sure in which category Neal falls but that does not matter as long as skaters can learn new incredible tricks and they can only admire him for his boldness at such an age. This only means that a book should not be judged by its cover.

Neal does not look like an advanced street skater neither does he look like an entry level skater but he nevertheless challenges the children who watch him. He uses the steel grind rail and behaving nonchalantly he takes the skateboard in his hands, finger flipping it from the rail expecting to fall properly on the ground. He fails the first time, but he does not give up. He succeeds the second time when we see him taking power over the board, he mounts on it and tries to keep his balance as he slowly finishes the ride.

And this olds man does not even wear a helmet, knee pads or elbow pads, in spite of the strict rules in the park. He acts totally free and is proud for that.
