The T4Cast Ep. 52: American Societies Intelligence Decline

I’ve been noticing people are pretty dumb now-a-days, and I’ve been wondering about that. Are people the same intelligence as always, and I’ve just never realized? Is the internet/social media making people dumber? Or is social media just exposing how dumb everyone is so it’s more transparent now than ever?

But then I think no, people must have always been dumb, because shows like Access Hollywood and Entertainment Tonight have been around forever, which are shows that I have never understood the popularity. Why do people care SO MUCH about famous people’s lives? Just worry about your own and make your own as best as it can be! I never got that and I still don’t. I literally do not care AT ALL about what any famous person is up to. At the end of the day, they are just another person to me.

Politics is where the dumbness REALLY shines, so the first half of this episode is dedicated to that, but I tangent off into other topics halfway, because I do want to encompass the full gambit of how dumb society is.
