Nicol Brown is the new city manager for Hartford.

Mayor Richard Hall says the city council is looking forward to working with her and says they believe her knowledge and experience will be a "great addition to the city." Brown comes to Hartford from being the St. Joseph Housing Commission executive director and previously worked as the community and economic development director for the city of Benton Harbor and for the Michigan State Housing Development Authority. She will start the job on March 6 and the city will host a meet and greet with her on Wednesday, March 13 from 5 to 7 p.m.
